Hey,
So, I got transferred to Vilagarcía, which is a small village close to Vigo. I'm very excited to go up there and work hard. It's going to be very different from Barrio 8 (big city), which was the exact opposite of what Vilagarcía is going to be like (small town on the coast, to the north).
So it was kind of hard saying goodbye to all the members. I really only wanted to say goodbye to the Guzman family, Jorgé and his family, and Victor Brun. They were the members I really got to know. Jorgé's mom, on our visit yesterday, kept making food and doing stuff so I couldn't leave. It was funny, but kind of sad, but it was good.
It was funny I didn't realize how well Elder Wade and I got along until we got the transfer info and he was a bit sad that I was leaving. He lives in St George so we will hang out after the mission for sure.
Right now I'm on a train for 5 and a half hours, so it's great!!!! I got lots of pics to send your way. Also, we got lost! Now I'm in Vigo waiting for my train back to my area.
Love ya,
Elder MacKay
