Well, this week was a bit slow at first, then sped up real fast. Most of our friends were at the Young Adult EFY thing and, well, it made for a chill week. We met with a few new people and nothing came of it. I went to Guadalajara for exchanges and it was fun. I got to teach a Muslim that got baptized on Saturday. He is a cool guy and you will never guess his name - wait for it ... Mohammad, haha.
Sara really liked the EFY thing. She got an answer and wants to get baptized. She shared her testimony with us and it was really cool. She wants to talk to her family before she sets a date, but we are excited. She also shared the lesson at the family home evening we put on last night. She made the lesson to help her mom, who started crying in the lesson. It was soo cool because Sara gave a super powerful atonement lesson.. it was just cool.
Patricia is doing good. We are going slow with her, but we are going to see what we can do to help her. She said she would get baptized, but needed to talk to her mom. I think everything is going good. We just need to find more cool people, haha, but we are looking.
Oh, funny story! Elder Lords was reading an email from a friend serving in the Chesapeake, Virginia mission, talking about how she went on exchanges with a Sister Lords. My companion was like, “Guys, this sister has the last name of Lords, too. I didn't hear him very well so I went and sat down by him to read the email. Well, it was Abby Lords from back home that she was talking about. I was like, “Wow, I know her!” Elder Lords thought I was just messing with him. Small world! I found out that my other companion, Elder Burt, was roommates with Jacob Moffat at BYU-I before his mission.
Well, hope you all have a great week! Peace out!
