Well, sounds like the family back home had fun this week and everything is going good.
This week was fun - not a ton happened, but it was cool.
Monday we went to Torrejon and visited a cool park there with the ZLs and some of the young adults in our area.
Tuesday we went to zone conference and it was great - I learned a lot. We talked about invitations and promising blessings and how we can do that better. Our president also has invited us to learn to teach more simply, but with power, so we can keep our investigators' attention. And, so we can get in and out faster. After zone conference, we met with Sara (she is cool) and some other people.
Wednesday we went to Guadalajara and, with our district, set up a picture of Jesus and started talking to people. It was cool - we met some awesome people. My comp, Elder Lords, ended up talking to all the people who wanted to fight, so it was funny seeing that. Then we did some work and the day went by really fast.
Thursday.... Well, I don't remember what happened, so yeah, it wasn't really important...
Friday we did exchanges with the Zls - it was good. I got to work in Torrejon and I knew it better than the zone leader that I was with, haha. I got to see lots of old friends there. It was cool. I really enjoyed it. I also got to meet some new people.
Saturday, as we showed up at the church, a couple came and wanted to go in, so we gave them a tour. The wife stayed in the chapel to pray and when she came out we shared a short Restoration lesson with her. We gave them a Book of Mormon. They told us that earlier that morning they googled “church” and our church was the first one to show up in Azuqueca. So, fun little lesson in our futbol clothes. After that we played fútbol and had a bbq with the elder's quorum - nothing like an American bbq, but it was ok. One of our investigators came and it was good for him.
Sunday was fun - lots of stuff happened. A less active came with us to church, we ate with a sister that is a family history missionary (she was cool), and then we met with Sara. It looks like the baptismal date is putting too much stress on her, so we took it off, but she said that she still wants to get baptized - the 3rd just seemed a little soon for her. It was sad, but I hope it helps her. Then Pepi invited us over for tortilla de patata and it was soooooooooo good - the best I have had so far. Also, funny story - Elder Burt got sick on Wednesday, so Elder Lords and I dropped him off at a member's house and had him sleep on the couch there so we could go out and work (we are a threesome). It felt a little weird to drop him off, but it helped us out a lot to be able to meet with people. Now those members always ask him if he is sick in funny ways.
That was my week. Well, take care and have great week!
