Hey family and friends - good week! The mall is surprisingly big here. There was a McDonald's and a couple other American food places. I got a Sony camera.
We had a great devotional by Elder Ballard. Nothing much happened Friday. Saturday, we went to the park. I was able to go with Elder Stout and Elder Carter - great guys! I sent you some pics of us at the park.
Sunday I gave a talk about the atonement - great opportunity. I led the hymns in Sacrament meeting. Also, I led district meeting - it was about obedience. I shared lots of scrips and had an awesome discussion - great time. I fell asleep during the fireside and can't remember who was speaking.
Oh, Friday some General Authorities came and we had a fireside from them. They are members of the quorum of the 70 - great guys (Elder Craig Christensen of the Presidency of the Seventy and Elder Tim Dyches of the Seventy).
Then the rest of the week has gone by so fast I have a hard time remembering what happened. We are working with our investigators, making lots of progress.
Today I didn't get to go to the temple. I woke up sick so i just slept in and that was nice. We don't have our p-day this afternoon because of a Thanksgiving devotional, but tomorrow we will.
Hope you all have a great week.
This picture of Kurt Russell was sent to him by his mtc teacher. She had done a lesson about how they should be like Christ. She showed a picture of a famous person that looked like each missionary to make a point. Craig had no idea who this is, just that he is a famous actor.
The black elder is 27 and has such a strong testimony - love him! He is serving in Portugal. It was hard to talk to him, but he always had a smile and was nicknamed the happiest man alive.
