Hey so this week has been good. Elder Douglas and I have been very busy.
The main focus has been Jorgé. We have had 4 lessons with him this week. He wants to be baptized on the 19th and is doing everything he needs to. He is reading, praying and coming to church. So everything is cool with him. I just hope we aren't going to fast, so we will see. We met with him on Tuesday and had the Restoration lesson and he loved it. Then he went to the Guzman's for a family home evening and had a fun obedience activity. He liked it so much we did it again on Thursday for a family home evening with his mom, his friend, and his other friend, Adrian (another investigator of ours). They loved it and then we played Pip Pop with him and it was fun. Then Sunday we taught the Plan of Salvation and Adrian cried about his grandma. It was awesome that we could testify that he can see her again.
So, yeah, Elder Douglas was transferred to the north (Benavente) and is with my mtc comp, Elder Robertson. I'm with his first trainee, Elder Alacama, so it's kinda of fun.
Hope you have a great week
Elder Mackay
When we asked Craig how his Spanish is coming, his companion replied:
Hey this is Elder Douglas. Elder Mackay's Spanish is coming along great! He has been making some really big jumps the last couple of weeks. He is making sure to say more during all of the lessons and he has helped me a ton. He also thinks of new things to say and especially to use the scriptures. So he does great job in the lessons. He is trying harder to talk more in small-talk conversations. He will get there one day. His new companion was actually my first trainee. He is a native. So Elder Mackay's Spanish is going to take off. He will only be speaking Spanish 24/7. So he will do awesome!
