Kossi is all good for this weekend. Funny thing - His baptism is Saturday evening, the same time as Kristen's. It's just so cool that she is making this step in her life. Gubby hoping to get his call for April - that's just awesome! I can't wait to see where he will go. I'm voting for Madrid - that would be just so cool if we could be out here at the same time. I also can't wait to see where Christian is going. How are his papers going? I would be just as excited if he was called here, too.
So this week we had a miracle happen - it was so cool. So, to start, we had a lesson with a less active named Edith. We have two less active people with the name Edith. We called one of the the Ediths and she said it was the wrong one, but we asked her if she would come to church anyways and she said yes. That's the first part of the story.
The other half of the story is that our friends, Dalila and her son, who have been investigating the church for a long time, had a lesson with us and it turned out to be so powerful. It's one of the times when I have felt the Spirit the strongest. We had the chance to testify that God loves her and Christ suffered for her and knows what she is going through. Then I shared Alma 7:11-13 and she stared crying again. It was so amazing. She said she could come on Sunday which was huge.
So, on Sunday, we were sitting there with Dalila and her son when Edith walks in who has been inactive for 20 years. It turns out she is a very close friend of Dalila! Now we are having a lesson/party with her after Kossi gets baptized! Now that Dalila has a friend in the church, it will help her so much. I can't wait to see what happens with her!
